MINE INFORMATION

The Bureau of Land Management, Uncompahgre Field Office (BLM) has announced an opportunity to provide scoping comments for an Environmental Assessment for the Last Chance Mine, operated by Nuvemco LLC. Nuvemco proposes exploratory drilling for uranium on Davis Mesa, approximately 13 miles west of Naturita, Montrose County, Colorado. Nuvemco plans to drill up to 358 exploration holes on five claims in the vicinity of the existing Last Chance Mine. The mining plan is a continuation of underground exploration and assessment. The company has been shipping samples of ore to the White Mesa Uranium Mill, San Juan County, Utah, for evaluation. Scoping comments are due March 17, 2009.
