HEARING REQUEST OPPORTUNITIES AND PUBLIC HEARINGS
Public Hearings are opportunities for any member of the public to speak and/or sumit written comments on a proposal being considered by a local, state, of federal entity. Sometimes there are opportunities to request such public hearing.
Hearing request opportunities enable an interested person or group to request a formal or informal administrative hearing before for a decision making body as a party, in accordance with local, state, or federal regulations and statutes. Sometimes a party must gain standing for such a hearing, and the decision can eventually be appealed to a state or federal court.
